A substantial figural study of a young woman in an interior, shown nude and reclining on a sofa. This notable Argentinian artist has painted large-scale works based on the human for for over forty years. Influenced by the works of Francis Bacon and Gustav Klimt, Lavallen has forged a personal, expressive style in which he fuses dynamic movement and psychological penetration. We are pleased to offer this eloquent example from the artist's middle period.
