Mid-Century Modernist gouache cityscape showing an elegant moonlit harbor lined with moorish arches and seen through papyrus fronds beneath a full moon. Flynn studied art at the Cooper Union in New York and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for two years which he spent in Egypt establishing the Art Department at the American University in Cairo.
