Certified by the artist’s wife, Virginia Ulreich
This early American Modernist first studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and, subsequently, at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. During a long career, Ulreich exhibited widely and with success throughout the United States and was the recipient of numerous prizes and medals. He worked in a variety of mediums including sculpture, mural, mosaic and the graphic arts. Ulreich also worked for the WPA and public installations by the artist may be found throughout New York state. We are pleased to offer this stunning collage dating to circa 1940.
